Please read carefully:

A Sign adjacent to Right-of-Way Permit (Sign a/ROW) is required for signs (billboards) adjacent to right-of-way’s, in accordance with municipal bylaws. A billboard sign contains a message that is not related to the property where the sign is located.

Additional Conditions and Comments

There is currently a moratorium on all billboard style sign permits. If you have questions please contact Rob Dillane at rdillane@haliburtoncounty.ca.

Fees:
Initial administration fee of $150.00 plus $7.50/sq.M. (minimum of $300.00) + annual renewal fee of $150.00.

Fee payment can be made in a variety of ways quoting the application ID:

  • In person at 11 Newcastle Street, Minden - Cash or Cheque made payable to the County of Haliburton
  • By courier or Canada Post - Cheque made payable to the County of Haliburton
  • Via EFT to payments@haliburtoncounty.ca
