A Sign in Right-of-Way Permit (Sign in ROW) is required of a sign that is located on a private property and identifies that property, the occupants, the owners; the businesses and/or advertises products or services on the property.

Additional Conditions and Comments

There is currently a moratorium on all billboard style sign permits. If you have questions please contact Rob Dillane at rdillane@haliburtoncounty.ca.
Fees:
Location style: Initial Fee of $7.50/sq.M. (minimum of $300.00)

Fee payment can be made in a variety of ways quoting the application ID:

  • In person at 11 Newcastle Street, Minden - Cash or Cheque made payable to the County of Haliburton
  • By courier or Canada Post - Cheque made payable to the County of Haliburton
  • Via EFT to payments@haliburtoncounty.ca
